In Speyside, the climate leaves its mark on the hills, the streams and the spirit. Glenburgie 2009 is a fine expression of that: an amber single malt, bottled by Thompson Bros. of Dornoch after more than 17 years in selected casks. A meeting of place, time and craft, and a reason Speyside is still seen as the centre of Scotch whisky.
Apple and peach rise from the glass, backed by vanilla and caramel. Fruity sweetness meets a touch of spice, and warm oak carries a long, elegant finish. A February 2026 limited edition, it brings together Glenburgie’s distilling tradition and Thompson Bros’ cask selection.
