We're out of the gates with a bang as soon as the shipment lands in November with our first outing; we shall be appearing at the Örebro Öl & Whisky Festival, 27-28 November, Conventum Arena, Örebro.

With more than half the tickets now sold, the festival expects an approximate crowd of 4500 people over the two days. This will be a nice warm-up to next April's Göteborg Öl- och Whiskymässa. A first for us, so we're a little nervous, but it should a fun experience amongst other whisky loving folks!

Come say hello! We may be getting a bunch of free tickets, so we will hold a giveaway via our mailing list. Sign up if you haven't already and keep your eyes peeled closer to the date.

Cheers!

A Grain of Malt is now online. We are a licensed Swedish importer of single malt Scotch, based on the west coast. We source distinctive casks in Scotland and bring every bottle to Sweden through Systembolaget.

Here you will find the releases, the regions we work with, and the occasional note from the warehouse or the tasting room. Small operation. Careful choices.

Curating distinctive casks. Sharing stories that matter.

A Grain of Malt AB is founded

A Grain of Malt AB was founded on 22 May 2026. We are a west-coast independent importer of single malt Scotch, and a great deal of work remains before we are in operation. Licensing, bonded storage, cask selection and the path onto Systembolaget still lie ahead. The company is started. The dream is slowly taking shape.
