Thompson Bros. describe the result as bright, fresh and zippy, with a refined and surprisingly gentle peat profile, classic savoury island character and a long, coating, waxy finish.
Aged 21 years and presented at natural cask strength of 52.7% ABV, natural colour and no chill filtration.
We're out of the gates with a bang as soon as the shipment lands in November with our first outing; we shall be appearing at the Örebro Öl & Whisky Festival, 27-28 November, Conventum Arena, Örebro.
With more than half the tickets now sold, the festival expects an approximate crowd of 4500 people over the two days. This will be a nice warm-up to next April's Göteborg Öl- och Whiskymässa. A first for us, so we're a little nervous, but it should a fun experience amongst other whisky loving folks!
