A Grain of Malt AB is a west coast-based independent importer of single malt Scotch whisky. We are whisky enthusiasts first — people who have spent years visiting distilleries, tasting from the cask, and learning what makes a whisky worth seeking out.

Our focus is on expressions that tell a story: a specific distillery, a specific cask, a specific moment in time. We look for whiskies with genuine regional character — whether that’s the maritime depth of Campbeltown, the complex smoke of Islay, or the gentle fruit of Speyside.

Every bottle we import is sold exclusively through Systembolaget, Sweden’s national retail monopoly for alcohol. This means full compliance, full traceability, and easy access for whisky lovers across the country.

We are a small operation. We do not chase volume. We choose carefully, import thoughtfully, and share what we find.
